Things to Know
-
There is no GFC dress code, so you’ll find everything from suits to jeans. The most important thing is that you’re here.
-
Come 10-15 minutes early, and you will be greeted by our welcome team, who can answer any questions you have. You will be welcome to a cup of coffee or tea as we fellowship before the service.
-
Kids are welcome at GFC! During our Gospel Growth hour, we will have a nursery for infants and toddlers, a class for children (5-11) and for youth (12-18). After singing in our worship gathering, children are invited to our children’s church.
-
Join us at 9:30 for a time of studying the Bible together. Our topics will rotate but will always focus on deepening our understanding of God’s Word and His gospel, while equipping us to live with Christ, for Christ, and like Christ in our home, workplace, and world.

What to Expect
Congregational Singing
On Sundays, we come eager to confess our faith and worship the Lord together in song. It’s a time when our pursuit of God through the week culminates in an overflow of praise.
We also believe that our singing is a way to teach and encourage one another (Col. 3:16). So, we choose songs that are easy to understand and sing along to.
Expository preaching
We believe that “faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Rom. 10:17). That’s why the focal point of our Sunday gathering is hearing the Bible preached.
Expository preaching means we make our way through the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter. We start with the text of Scripture and then apply it to our lives.
Corporate prayer
We believe in the power of prayer (James 5:16). And we want to be a church that devotes itself to prayer like the early church did (Acts 2:42).
So, we take time during our gatherings to bring our needs before God, asking Him to awaken our hearts and renew our minds. We also confess our sins together and ask Him to heal us and make us more like Jesus.
