    JOSH ROLAND

    As lead pastor, Josh enjoys developing the vision for GFC and leading the church in Word-centered teaching and preaching. He enjoys strategy and all things leadership-development. He looks forward to training and raising up new leaders to continue the legacy of Gospel work in Utah and beyond.

    Josh served in pastoral ministry for 11 years in Roswell, GA at Lebanon Baptist Church before moving to Utah in 2024 to begin preparations for founding Gospel Fellowship Church. He holds an MA in Bible from Bob Jones University as well as an MDiv from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary.

    He and his wife Caroline have traveled broadly in ministry around the country, have 6 daughters and are immersed in family and community life. They love gardening, the Utah outdoors, reading, and spending time with family. The whole family is excited to minister in Utah, and look forward to many fruitful years ahead.

    CALEB STURGIS

    As assistant pastor, Caleb helps to lead our community groups and discipleship programs. He is always available for coffee, disc golf, or anything outdoors.

    He holds an MA from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary and an MDiv from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Before becoming a pastor at GFC, Caleb spent 5 years at a church in the north Atlanta area, serving as a pastoral resident and assistant with a focus on youth ministry.

    Caleb and his wife, Maddie, moved out with their son in the summer of 2025 eager to see God work in forming a community of people changed by the gospel of grace.
